4900 Spa : A construction site affecting our network is ongoing or upcoming

Our teams are working on the drinking water distribution network to supply a new area.

This work may extend over several days and cause irregular water outages of varying duration. Pressure drops may also occur.

Aware of the inconvenience, our teams are doing everything possible to minimise the impact of these works, both:

• on the supply of drinking water to your tap
• on traffic around the work site.

If planned water outages are required, SWDE or the company in charge of the work will notify affected residents at least three days in advance.

During or after the work, you may notice several phenomena when opening the tap:

• Temporary drops in pressure
  No need to worry — these phenomena are temporary. If they persist, please contact our customer service.
• Brownish or reddish water
  See our recommendations.
• Milky-looking water
  This phenomenon is not related to excess limescale. It results from air bubbles in the water and has no impact on water quality (see Water Quality FAQ).

In order to limit the impact of road or pavement openings for residents, other utilities sometimes take the opportunity to install their underground infrastructure (optical fibre, gas, sewerage, etc.). As a result, the duration of the works may vary according to each stakeholder’s constraints, over which SWDE has no control.

The end date of the works shown on this page may be postponed due to unforeseen difficulties encountered during the work or depending on weather conditions.
