Tap water is the food product in Wallonia subject to most checks. Every year, our lab carries out at least 20,000 samples throughout our network. Each of these is checked for compliance with the applicable health regulations. These quality standards are very strict, and the risk of contamination is far below the recommendations issued by the World Health Organisation (WHO). All this makes tap water fresh and safe.
