Having trouble paying your water bill? The Water Social Fund can help you.

Water is an important necessity, but when budgets are tight, bills can become a source of stress. Fortunately, there is help at hand: the Water Social Fund (FSE).

This solidarity fund, paid for by a small amount added directly to each water bill, can pay all or part of your bill for you, depending on your situation.

How do you go about it?

 Contact your local Public Social Action Centre (CPAS). They will assess your situation and say whether you can receive this aid. 

The process is completely free, open to everyone, and protected by professional confidentiality: whether you are a tenant (it doesn’t matter if your name is on the water company account), a homeowner, or receiving social benefits.
